Join the Susquehanna Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club for a 2 1/2 mile hike on Pam Lea’s “back 80.” Walk through hay fields, adjacent swamp, woodland and seasonal roads with views of the Fly Creek valley and Canadarago Lake. Car poolers should meet at the Price Chopper in Oneonta at 9:15 for the hike at 10:00. Take State Rt. 28 north through Cooperstowm and Fly Creek to Schuyler Lake. Turn left at the post office, go 1/4 mile then right onto Co. Hwy. 23. Go one more mile – brown house on the right and horse barn on the left. The address for GPS is: 1441 Co.
