First Day Hike-Glimmerglass

Happy 2024!

Glimmerglass State Park is offering a First Day Hike, a 1/2 mile self-guided hike along their ADA accessible nature trail. The trail is a loop and returns back to the Beaver Pond Parking Lot. The hike starts at 10:00 AM and the first 100 people will receive a First Day Hike Giveaway. The hike ends at dusk. A Porta-Jon is located at the Beaver Pond and a Public Restroom is available at the Park Office if staffing allows. Self led walk. The trail might be snow and ice covered. Wear appropriate footwear/snowshoes for the conditions. Hiking/ski poles might be beneficial for balance.
