DESCRIPTION:Go butt-deep in the swamp to help prevent the spread invasive species! Join the Otsego County Conservation Association as we wade into Clarke Pond in Springfield in an effort to eliminate European frog-bit (Hydrocharis morsus-ranae) from the pond\, and to prevent it from spreading to other water bodies\, including nearby Otsego Lake. \nEuropean frog-bit is a highly invasive aquatic plant capable of disrupting our local ecosystems. Please note this is strenuous work that involves wading through deep mud.
