SUMMARY:Queer Paddle at the OPA Picnic
DESCRIPTION:Join OCCA staff at Gilbert Lake State Park on Sunday\, August 13th from Noon – 2pm. The staff will be there with a variety of watercraft that folks can learn about\, try and get questions answered. OCCA will be demonstrating the following: Paddle Board\, Sit-On-Top Kayaks (single and double)\, traditional kayak and canoe! We will also be sharing information about aquatic invasive species and water health and safety. DESCRIPTION:Join the Otsego County Conservation Association for a mushroom walk on August 13th at 2 pm.  Walk leader\, Margret Grebowicz lives locally and aims to broaden your understanding of mushrooms and inspire you to learn more.  The group will meet on Vibbard Road\, Cooperstown (right before it becomes a seasonal road).  Participants should dress for a walk through the woods\, wearing long pants and shoes you don’t mind getting muddy.
