SUMMARY:Eagle Viewing Trip with DOAS
DESCRIPTION:Join the Delaware-Otsego Audubon Society for an eagle viewing trip around the Delaware County rivers and reservoirs. Open to the public. \nThe trip explores area rivers and reservoirs where eagles concentrate around open water in the region to feed. Past trips have turned up 20+ birds. Other raptors and waterfowl are usually sighted also. We will stop at a local restaurant for lunch for interested participants.\nThis year’s trip is open to the public\, and participants can register using the form on our website: https://doas.us/\nThe trip is mostly by car\, with a small amount of walking on level ground. Conditions may be snowy or icy.\n\nThe trip will leave the Dietz St. parking lot across from the YMCA in Oneonta at 8:00 a.m. Participants can also be picked up en-route in Delhi and Walton. Return to Oneonta will be mid-to-late afternoon. Carpooling is strongly encouraged.
