SUMMARY:Hike with ADK at Emmons Pond Bog
DESCRIPTION:Every Tuesday\, the Susquehanna Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club leads a guided hike. Meet at 9:45 am\, hike starts at 10 am and usually last 1 1/2 to 2 hours. All welcome. \nSee susqadk.org  for details. The club also has monthly meetings in Oneonta\, and offers longer Saturday Hikes once a month April through October. The Saturday hikes require advance registration.

SUMMARY:Goodyear Swamp Sanctuary Botanical Survey
DESCRIPTION:Join the Leatherstocking Botanical Society and Dr. Donna Vogler in conducting a survey of plants at the Goodyear Swamp Sanctuary located behind the Glimmerglass Festival\, at the northwest end of Otsego Lake. The Sanctuary is a 5-acre wetland managed by the SUNY Oneonta Biological Field Station\, and the trails and boardwalk have been recently reopened to the public.\n\n\n\nBring water\, bug spray\, sunscreen\, and lunch or snacks.
