The New York State Office of Parks and recreation operates the boat launch, three miles south of Richfield Springs, NY. The launch has concrete ramps and parking is available.
Access to Canadarago Lake and Deowongo Island, an Otsego Land Trust, Blueway Trail site. The island is open to the public for walking and picnics. The south end of the lake is bog-like with an abundance of waterfowl.
