2721 State Route 80, Sherburne, NY
607/674-4733
The Rogers Center offers seven miles of trails winding through 600 acres for you to hike, snowshoe, or ski.
Please note: dogs are not allowed on Rogers Center property.Â
The Visitor Center is open Wednesday-Saturday 10 am-4 pm and on Sundays from 12 pm -4 pm. Restrooms are open 7 am -7 pm daily and the trails are open dawn to dusk. Trail maps are located in the Visitor Center. An accessible paved trail takes you by the trout ponds and to the visitor center.
The site also includes picnic tables and grills. Get a good introduction to the Rogers Center by combining the Channels Trail and the Boundary Trail (about 1.5 miles). The Farm Tower Trail offers a beautiful view of the Chenango Valley. The Cush Hill trails feature near-pristine woods, especially wonderful to see spring ephemerals. About a mile north on Route 80 from the Rogers Center visitor parking lot is the Adams Farm parcel, which highlights aging ponds, an old shale quarry, and a beautiful stand of hemlocks.
The Rogers Center offers a variety of programming for kids and adults. Check out their events calendar.
