Table Rock Trails (trails temporarily closed)
Hartwick College Campus, Hartwick Drive, Oneonta, NY
Park in designated areas, see “Getting There” below.
The Table Rock Trails are on the campus of Hartwick College. The trail system consists of three loops totaling about five miles. The Blue Trail is 2.2 miles and features beautiful views from Table Rocks’ massive stone slabs.
Update November 16, 2025: Beginning this week, the College’s contracted forester will oversee thinning work on the Table Rock trails. A logging contractor will carry out the cutting, with the forester managing the process. This project is expected to continue for at least the next couple of months. For safety reasons, trails will be closed for the duration of this work. The blue, yellow and red trails will be closed to all users until the thinning operations are complete. Signage will be posted at the three main gateway kiosks to alert visitors and provide clear directions. If you completed a trail prior to the closing, it still counts for the Otsego Outdoors Fall Octet Challenge.
