]]> On Sunday, June 16 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, Delaware-Otsego Audubon Society Member and local Environmental Educator, Chris DeCesare will lead a walk to observe the plants and animals of Emmons Pond Bog Preserve. This property is managed by the Nature Conservancy and includes meadow, woods, and wetland areas to explore. We’ll discuss the plants that grow specifically in a bog environment and look for signs of birds and other animals in the field and forest as we make our way around the 1.4 mile trail.

Binoculars and sturdy walking shoes are recommended. Meet at the Preserve entrance on White Hill Road. For additional details, contact Chris DeCesare at 607-244-5496 or chris.decesare444@gmail.com.
