This event will go from 1pm-8pm so you can enjoy the day and hike around the lake after-hours by the light of the February full moon.
We will have hotdogs for roasting and chili (for chili dogs ), hot tea/coffee/cocoa, cookies and s’mores of course!
We’ll have the fires going in the Briggs all day so come on down!

Bring non-perishable items to donate to the Martin Luther King Jr. food drive and enter to win a Gilbert Lake goodie basket. All non-perishable items welcome, especially self-care items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, bar soap, deodorant, feminine hygiene products etc. Gilbert Lake State Park collected 251 items at the First Day Hike event, and would love to collect even more this time around. Your generosity is very much appreciated.

There needs to be a good base of snow for the tubing hill to be open. Check the Park’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/GlimmerglassStatePark/ or call the park office 607/547-8662 before heading out to make sure the tubing hill will be open.

Tubing at Glimmerglass State Park can be counted as one of the eight Winter activities needed to achieve the Otsego Outdoors Winter Octet.
